Hans,
Considering your argument, you must have a 1000 processor super computer on your desk.
I have s typical Quad Processor.

Yes, I am not a camera person. I am a tech who has to deal with people who bring in the stuff after its all been shot. As such, I get to talk to a number of users of RED and another equipment. Plus also get to see/hear about issues that the RED user (Camera man) probably never gets to hear about. ie Post production issues.
Why criticise me for trying to show a different perspective.
Who is being unreasonable here?
You are not sure of my "experience", I am 39 years old, and been working in Film and TV for over 15 years. Here is a showreel http://www.crafted.com.au/blog/2008/07/08/my-showreel-for-july-2008/

I've shown you my credentials, how about you show me yours...

This proves you just don't get it.

So most are only going to be able to go to 2k? So what? You're like Bill Gates saying 640k of RAM should be enough for everybody. You can't look past the here and now to how things can be. I'd be very interested to see/hear what makes you an 'expert' in any field and what kind of facility you used to own and run.
