I have s typical Quad Processor. Yes, I am not a camera person. I am a tech who has to deal with people who bring in the stuff after its all been shot. As such, I get to talk to a number of users of RED and another equipment. Plus also get to see/hear about issues that the RED user (Camera man) probably never gets to hear about. ie Post production issues. Why criticise me for trying to show a different perspective. So most are only going to be able to go to 2k? So what? You're like Bill Gates saying 640k of RAM should be enough for everybody. You can't look past the here and now to how things can be.
