Avid is getting desperate

Recently Avid has been changing the way it approaches the Video Editing side of the production industry.  Apple and Final Cut Pro has been eroding their dominance for quite some time. The recent drop in prices by avid is unprecedented.

Red camera, Obsolescence Obsolete, or Obsolescence overboard?

The Red Digital Cinema tag line is “The Red Camera Makes Obsolescence Obsolete.”

Last nail in the coffin for Interactive TV.

Recently Channel4/UK pulled the plug on the RED BUTTON.  Better known as the Interactive TV button.

Red Camera, nothing but hype
